Rec.on brand gives recovered auto parts a new chance to shine again. Using a unique upcycling process, we transform used, unwanted parts into new, high-quality, functional designs, adding style and an industrial aesthetic to any interior.
The process of acquiring our materials is what makes our products one-of-a-kind. Each creation is marked with an individual serial number, and customers have the option to specify parts from their favorite car models. Our clients range from individuals, hotels, restaurants, clubs and businesses.
Our goal is to build stellar, sophisticated designs, all while promoting the essence of mindful creation to serve our customers as well as the environment. The ART & ECO Residence is part of the REC.ON Spain project in the Sierra Maria los Velez mountains in Andalusia, near the town of Velez Rubio. Combining art, ecology and heritage preservation, the project aims to promote a sustainable future. The REC.ON Spain residency supports contemporary artists, writers, musicians and creative individuals who will find peace in nature, hospitality from the hosts, inspiration from eco design installations and healthy food from the garden. The residence provides the perfect environment for both creating in peace and interacting with other project residents. They share breakfasts, evening bonfires, concerts, mountain hikes, and explore the culture of the nearby pueblo of Velez Rubio.
The hosts are Paulina and Bart, artist-craftsmen with more than eight years of experience in upcycling art under the REC.ON brand, focusing on eco-friendly installations, wearable art and restoration of rural buildings while preserving the cultural heritage of Andalusia.
Residency Program Name: „REC.ON Project Spain”
Location: Eco & Art Village Bolaimi, 04820 Andalusia, Spain
Duration: 4 weeks (with the possibility of extension)
Accommodation: In the 100 year old rustic and authentic house offer: 3 rooms that can accommodate up to 5 individuals.
Workshop: indoor and outdoor spaces available for artists to develop their projects.
Gallery space & Showroom: These spaces allow artists to exhibit and sell their works to the public. There will be a final exhibition in the last week of the program, along with assistance in establishing international connections.
